Linda Hunter Buffalo, New York Linda Hunter has a B.S. in
Education from Buffalo State College, SUNY, in mathematics, and has been a
quiltmaker and teacher of quiltmaking for over 30 years, as well as a substitute
teacher at a local high school. She is a founding member of the Amherst Museum
Quilter’s Guild and teaches several quilt classes each week for various
Community Education programs in local school systems in Western New York State.
She also gives lectures and conducts workshops involving quiltmaking. She is
well versed in all aspects of quiltmaking including dating quilts, fabric and
pattern identification and construction. As a certified AQS quilt appraiser, she
