Amy Korn
Amy Korn is an American Quilter’s Society (AQS) Certified Appraiser of Quilted Textiles, one of fewer than 75 certified appraisers in the United States and Canada. She is a member of the Professional Association of Appraisers – Quilted Textiles (PAAQT), the American Quilter’s Society (AQS), the American Quilt Study Group (AQSG), the National Quilting Association (NQA) and the Columbus Metropolitan Quilters. Amy has been a quilter and quilt researcher for over 20 years and has taken numerous classes in dating fabric, quilt history, quilt construction and appraising.
Amy has a Master’s degree in Literature and taught English at both the high school and college level in New Jersey, Texas and Ohio. She now works as a Compliance Analyst for a national life insurance company in the Columbus, Ohio area. She is married and the proud mother of two grown sons and an adorable cat.
Combining her love of fabric and her extensive library of research materials, the art of appraising is a natural outgrowth of Amy’s passion for quilting.
