Jane Hall has lectured and taught quiltmaking for guilds and quilt conferences in the United States and abroad for more than twenty-five years.  She is a Certified quilt teacher and quilt judge, as well as a quilt designer and collector. She has been a Certified Appraiser of antique and contemporary quilts since 1989.

She has a particular interest in foundation work, exploring methods for using foundation techniques in all kinds of piecing, traditional and innovative. Jane has co-authored five books on foundation piecing with Dixie Haywood and her new book, The Experts’ Guide to Foundation Piecing  has just been published by C&T.  Workshops and lectures are listed on her website, www.janehallquilts.com

A graduate of Cornell University, Jane and her husband, Robert, live in Raleigh, NC and have six grown children and ten grandchildren.
