Phyllis Twigg
Hatcher has an A.B. degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown,
Pennsylvania
and a M.Ed. degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Phyllis
completed the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's three credit graduate course
"History of Quilts" taught by Dr. Patricia Crews. She is past president of both
the Annapolis Quilt Guild and Baltimore Appliqué Societyand she lectures on
quilt history and teaches quilting classes and workshops. The lecture

Phyllis Twigg Hatcher currently appraises at large and small quilt show venues including Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival in Hampton, Virginia (February); Quilters' Heritage Celebration in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (April); American Quilter's Society Show in Paducah, Kentucky (April); Annapolis Quilt Show in Maryland (June), Quilt Odyssey in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania (July); and the Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (September).
